When removing spots, always pre-test the spot remover you plan to use on a hidden area of your carpet or fabric. Do this by applying a small amount and then blotting it with a clean white cloth. If any color appears on the white cloth, or you see a change in color on the fabric, do not use the spot remover. After pre-testing shows that the spot remover is safe to use, apply it to your cloth and blot it on the spot you want removed. Repeat until the spot is gone. Next, rinse the area by wetting the cloth with water and blotting it onto the area. Hot water will help with this process. Finally, take a clean, dry cloth and blot the area dry.
